Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) continues to lead the way to sustainable mobility by offering the widest range of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) locally. Next month, its lineup of next generation, environment-friendly cars will further expand with the introduction of the hybrid variant of another iconic SUV.

The country’s leading automotive and mobility company has confirmed that it is bringing the NEW RAV4 HEV to the Philippines this February. This bold update to the iconic model last refreshed in 2019 is TMP’s second hybrid crossover, following the introduction of the hit Corolla Cross HEV in 2020.

“The rapid succession of Toyota’s HEV model introductions in the country is an indicator that Hybrid cars are now mainstream. Filipinos are ready for energy efficient mobility options with less emissions, and Hybrids offer choices that are practical and ready to use in our existing infrastructure and road conditions,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP’s First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations.

Just last December, TMP launched the New Camry HEV for the luxury sedan segment. The launch of the RAV4 HEV will bring TMP’s total Hybrid models to five, adding up to the pioneering Prius, Corolla Altis HEV and Corolla Cross HEV.

On top of the self-charging Hybrid technology (no need to plug in) the New RAV4 HEV is expected to carry more exciting innovation and technology, like advanced safety features, Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) development, combined with the signature quality, durability, and reliability, suitable for the brave and adventurous.

Full features and specifications will be revealed soon on TMP’s website (toyota.com.ph) and social media channels (Toyota Motor Philippines on Facebook and Instagram, @ToyotaMotorPH on Twitter and Toyota PH on Viber). Suggested Retail Price is expected to start at Php2,157,000.

For reservations, inquire at your nearest Toyota dealership beginning January 17.
