As digital tools continue to evolve, one thing remains true: reliable printing still has a place in student life.

From reports and essays to creative layouts and school projects, physical outputs remain a daily need.
Recognizing this, Canon Marketing Philippines is doubling down on its mission to provide smarter, more affordable printing solutions through its “Print Your Way to A+” campaign and Campus Tour 2025—an initiative designed to bring high-performance printing closer to students, both literally and financially.

Held at Marco Polo Ortigas, the campaign’s media launch highlighted Canon’s latest line of PIXMA and MAXIFY MegaTank printers, showcasing their cost-efficiency, ease of use, and student-friendly features. The event also served as a platform for Canon to announce major ink price reductions and new reward mechanics aimed at adding long-term value to every print.

MegaTank Tech That Makes Sense
During the tech demos, what stood out was the MegaTank’s practicality. Canon’s latest MegaTank printers—like the PIXMA G4770 and MAXIFY GX series—offer high-yield performance with ink bottles that can churn out up to 21,000 color pas or 9,000 black-and-white pages in economy mode. It’s a feature that directly addresses one of the biggest student pain points: running out of ink mid-semester (or worse, mid-print).

Canon’s MegaTank system also minimizes downtime with easy-to-refill ink tanks, while features like two-sided printing, compact design, and wireless connectivity cater to remote learning setups, dorm life, and hybrid academic models.

Printing Meets Platform
Where Canon separates itself from legacy expectations is in its evolving software support. The Canon Print app now functions as a digital command center, enabling remote print jobs, maintenance notifications, and Canon Rewards tracking—all from a mobile device.

Speaking of rewards: the program just got a major upgrade. Students now earn redeemable points with every Canon ink purchase, which can be exchanged via Giftaway e-gift certificates across 400+ partner merchants. Whether it’s food, transport, or digital services, students are effectively turning their academic prints into daily essentials.
A Holistic Approach to Academic Success
Canon also underscored its broader advocacy for student well-being by inviting Your Millennial Psychologist, Riyan Portuguez, to the event. Her talk reminded the crowd that while tools like printers are essential for academic output, mental resilience is just as important. It’s a notable shift in tone that reflects Canon’s commitment to holistic support—not just product placement.

Ink Bundle Deals and Campus Rollout
To sweeten the deal, Canon announced an Ink Bundle Promo: from now until September 30, 2025, select PIXMA MegaTank models (G2730, G3730, G4770, G3780, and G4780) will include a free set of GI-71s inks. On top of that, GI-71 ink bottle prices have been permanently reduced, driving down per-page costs even further for budget-conscious users.

Canon’s Campus Tour will make stops at several academic institutions over the next two months, starting with the recently concluded first leg at De La Salle University.
