Gogolook, a global leader in TrustTech solutions, has launched a nationwide initiative titled #DapatAllMagWhoscall to empower Filipinos against the growing threat of online scams.

The campaign advocates for safer online practices through Whoscall, Gogolook’s anti-scam application designed to enhance digital life security.
Manwoo Joo, Chief Operating Officer of Gogolook, emphasized the company’s commitment to safeguarding Filipino users.
“As we celebrate the successful first year of Whoscall in the Philippines, the #DapatAllMagWhoscall campaign underscores our belief that every Filipino deserves the freedom to use the internet and digital services without the looming fear of scams and fraud,” Joo stated.
Mel Migriño, Southeast Asia Regional Director and Country Representative of Gogolook, detailed the campaign’s core objectives: educating Filipinos about online scams, fostering a community dedicated to digital safety, and protecting individuals from unknown and potentially dangerous callers.

“Through #DapatAllMagWhoscall, we’re promoting an inclusive mindset towards personal cybersecurity, urging everyone to adopt safe online behaviors and be vigilant about their digital safety,” Migriño explained. The Whoscall app stands out with four primary features: caller and message identification, seamless integration with popular messaging apps like Viber and WhatsApp, safe browsing through its Web Checker tool, and robust data protection via ID Security.
These essential features are accessible to all users for free, available on both the Apple Store and Play Store. For those seeking an enhanced layer of protection, Whoscall Premium offers additional benefits, including an auto-updated number database, automatic URL scanning, comprehensive spam call blocking, and an ad-free experience.
Migriño also pointed out a common pitfall among Filipinos navigating the digital landscape: the tendency to overlook online safety. “While improving connectivity is vital, securing our online data is even more crucial. Scammers are increasingly operating in digital spaces, and unsecured accounts expose individuals to significant risks,” she warned.

Jeff Kuo, Co-Founder and CEO of Gogolook, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to enhancing personal cybersecurity in the Philippines through innovative TrustTech solutions. “Gogolook is committed to shielding users from scams and fraud, ensuring that internet access becomes a worry-free experience for everyone,” Kuo added.
In celebration of Whoscall’s first anniversary in the Philippines, Gogolook also honored its pioneering anti-scam advocacy partners at the #DapatAllMagWhoscall campaign launch. Among those recognized were the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), the Cyber Battalion of the Philippine Army, GoTyme Bank, and Scam Watch Pilipinas, all of whom play a crucial role in bolstering the nation’s digital defenses.
