Infinix Launches XPAD Edge, Its First 13.2-Inch Productivity Tablet

Infinix is expanding its device ecosystem with the launch of the Infinix XPAD Edge, the brand’s first 13.2-inch tablet positioned as a productivity-first, PC-style device. It features a large FHD+ display, a slim 6.19mm metallic chassis, and a lightweight 588g build—clearly aimed at users who want screen space without giving up mobility.

The XPAD Edge supports all-scenario 4G connectivity and works with a detachable keyboard and touchpad, allowing it to shift easily between tablet and laptop-style use. Infinix frames it as a device for creators, professionals, and students who work across locations rather than from a fixed desk.

A Large Screen Built for Real Work

At the center of the experience is the 13.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a format closer to traditional PC monitors than entertainment-focused tablets. The extra vertical space benefits document editing, spreadsheets, presentations, and split-screen workflows. The panel is TÜV Rheinland–certified for low blue light and flicker-free performance, a practical consideration for long work or study sessions.

Despite the large screen, the XPAD Edge remains highly portable. Its 6.19mm thickness and sub-600g weight make it easy to carry alongside a laptop—or replace one entirely for lighter workloads. An 8000mAh battery and built-in 4G connectivity support extended use away from Wi-Fi, whether in transit, cafés, or remote work setups.

PC-Style Multitasking and Peripheral Support

Infinix leans heavily into productivity features. The XPAD Edge supports split-screen multitasking, parallel windows, and drag-and-drop operations, taking advantage of the large display to run multiple apps side by side. Pre-installed WPS Office handles document creation and editing out of the box, while Wireless Second Screen support allows the tablet to mirror or extend a PC display for meetings or presentations.

External keyboards, mice, and accessories are supported, reinforcing its role as a flexible work device rather than a consumption-first tablet. Paired with the optional X Keyboard 20 and stylus, the XPAD Edge can be used for writing, note-taking, and light creative work in more traditional laptop-style scenarios.

AI Tools Focused on Efficiency

The XPAD Edge integrates Infinix AI features designed around everyday productivity rather than novelty. Tools such as AI Writing, AI Screen Recognition, Hi Translation, and AI Art aim to streamline research, note processing, content refinement, and basic visual creation.

Voice interaction is handled through the Folax Voice Assistant, allowing users to perform tasks like searching, translating, summarizing, or extracting text from images using spoken commands. These features are positioned as time-saving utilities for work and study rather than standalone AI showcases.

Audio, Storage, and Everyday Use

Beyond work tasks, the tablet includes a quad-speaker system tuned for higher volume output, making it suitable for video calls, streaming, and media playback without external speakers. Storage configurations go up to 256GB, paired with up to 16GB RAM (including virtual expansion), and support microSD expansion up to 2TB—useful for users handling large files or creative assets.

Infinix says the XPAD Edge undergoes 45 durability tests, emphasizing reliability across daily use scenarios. The overall design, finished in the “Celestial Ink” colorway, keeps a restrained, professional look suitable for both work and personal settings.

Availability and Pricing

The Infinix XPAD Edge is now available, retailing at PHP 15,999 on official Infinix offline or online stores via Infinix Website,  Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Lazada.

As Infinix’s first 13.2-inch, ultra-slim, PC-level tablet, the XPAD Edge is built for efficiency and on-the-go performance, giving modern professionals a freer, more flexible way to work—whether commuting, joining remote meetings, or juggling work and learning—while its seamless multitasking capabilities keep productivity and creativity flowing anytime, anywhere.
