Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 Packs Nine JBL Speakers for ₱25,995

If you regularly pair your tablet with a Bluetooth speaker for movie nights, Lenovo’s Tab Plus Gen 2 makes a case for carrying one device. Its nine-unit JBL Pro speaker system includes dedicated bass units and Dolby Atmos, paired with a larger 12.1-inch display and a built-in rotating kickstand.

Arriving in the Philippines on October 28 for ₱25,995, the tablet puts entertainment first while adding tools for reading, notes and transcription.
Built to stand, lean and hang
The Tab Plus Gen 2 has a 360-degree rotating kickstand with adjustable tilt for portrait and landscape viewing. It supports lean, theater, stand and hanging positions, while standby mode lets the screen serve as a digital picture frame.
The body measures 6.8mm thick, increasing to 22.7mm at the speaker bump, and weighs approximately 775g. It comes in Celestial White.
Its 12.1-inch LCD has a 2560 × 1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, with brightness reaching up to 800 nits in High Brightness Mode.

A tablet that doubles as a speaker
Beyond playing its own content, the Tab Plus Gen 2 can function as a Bluetooth speaker for a connected phone. Dolby Audio processing offers Dynamic, Movie and Music modes to adjust playback for different content.
Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, with expandable storage through a microSD card of up to 2TB. Lenovo lists configurations ranging from 6GB RAM/128GB storage to 12GB/256GB, although the release does not identify which configuration carries the Philippine launch price.
The tablet launches with Android 16, with two promised OS upgrades through Android 18 and security patches through 2030. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, while cameras comprise a 13MP autofocus rear camera and an 8MP fixed-focus front camera.
Battery life and the AI limits
The 10,200mAh battery supports up to 15 hours of YouTube streaming, according to Lenovo’s laboratory testing. Charging tops out at 45W, requiring a compatible USB Power Delivery charger sold separately.
Software features include Lenovo Smarter Reader, AI Notes with Lenovo Notepad, and AI Live Transcript with real-time translation across more than 40 languages. Live Transcript’s free use is limited to two hours daily, with additional usage subject to availability through in-app purchases.
The Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and Lenovo Wireless Keyboard are also sold separately.
