MacBook Neo pre-orders go live in the Philippines via Beyond the Box
Beyond the Box opens pre-orders for Apple’s most affordable MacBook yet, bundling over ₱10,000 in freebies with flexible financing across more than a dozen banking partners.
Apple’s most affordable MacBook to date is now available for pre-order in the Philippines. Beyond the Box, one of the country’s leading Apple Premium Resellers, officially opened pre-orders for the MacBook Neo on April 12, with units available across all Beyond the Box, Digital Walker, and open_source branches nationwide, as well as through beyondthebox.ph, LazMall, and Shopee Mall.
Specs and pricing
The MacBook Neo runs on Apple’s A18 Pro chip — the same silicon powering the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max — with a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. The machine features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display at 2408 x 1506 resolution with 500 nits of brightness, a fanless design for silent operation, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, dual side-firing speakers with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support, two USB-C ports, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 6. Battery life is rated at up to 16 hours for web browsing or video playback. The operating system is macOS Tahoe, with Apple Intelligence built in.
It comes in two storage configurations: 256GB and 512GB, the latter adding Touch ID. Both ship with 8GB of unified memory. Color options are blush, indigo, silver, and citrus.
Cash prices during the pre-order period are ₱39,990 for the 256GB and ₱46,990 for the 512GB, below their respective SRPs of ₱45,490 and ₱52,990.
Financing options
Beyond the Box is offering tiered 24-month installment plans depending on the cardholder’s bank. BPI, UnionBank, and Chinabank cardholders get the cash price installment rate of ₱1,666.25 per month for the 256GB and ₱1,957.92 for the 512GB. Metrobank and EastWest cardholders are on a special rate of ₱1,732.92 and ₱2,037.08 per month respectively. Other bank cardholders pay a regular rate of ₱1,895.42 and ₱2,207.92 per month. Home Credit offers a daily rate of ₱44 for the 256GB and ₱51 for the 512GB over 24 months.
Additional payment options are available through Security Bank, GoTyme Bank, BDO, RCBC, PNB, Billease, Maya, Bank of Commerce, and HSBC.
Pre-order perks and events
Every pre-order comes with a bundle of accessories valued at over ₱10,000. Beyond the Box is also hosting two café takeover events tied to the launch: Scout’s Honor at Uptown Mall on April 16, and The Matcha Tokyo at Opus Mall on April 17. On-site pre-order attendees receive a complimentary beverage, live DJ sets, and access to a meetup with local tech and social media personalities.
