DOOGEE announces the launch of what could be its most rugged and feature-packed flagship device– the DOOGEE S97 Pro. The smartphone is powered by with a Helio G95 Octa Core processor, a staggering 8500 mAh batteryand laser rangefinder packed into a tough and durable casing.
The newest feature to DOOGEE’s tool arsenal is the S97 Pro’s professional laser rangefinder; the first on any smartphone which eradicates the need for rulers and tape measures with its eight measurement modes and 40 metre range.
The modes include a single measurement, such as a continuous measurement as the user walks, an area measurement, where the length and width are measured separately to automatically calculate the area, plus a volume measurement, where the length, height and width is measured to calculate the value.
There are also three Pythagoras modes to measure sloping edges, right angles, hypotenuse and heights making it the ideal working tool. All modes can be selected within the S97 Pro’s menu to calculate the desired measurement.
The S97 Pro also takes fantastic photos, thanks to its impressive Samsung 48MP Quad camera which delivers almost twice the number of pixels than 8K resolution. The S97 Pro boasts an 8MP, 130° ultra-wide angle and clear camera angle with a one click panoramic view, a 2MP macro camera to discover a micro universe and a 2MP portrait camera that interprets features and generates stunning selfies to showcase the subject’s best attributes. Videos can also be recorded in in 4K movie-quality.
Rugged capabilities
A truly rugged phone with tough credentials, the S97 Pro provides effective insulation from water and dust as well as being drop-proof and scratch-resistant. Using advanced sealing technology and a solid structure, including high-density macro-molecule coating, the phone is waterproof and dustproof with IP ratings of IP68 and IP69K. Also having waterproof stoppers for the Type-C port, earphone jack and SIM card slot, users can rest assured that every part of the phone is protected. These features and the easy-to-use camera mode for underwater scenes mean that the S97 Pro can be used in water up to 1.5m deep for up to 30 minutes to capture aquatic images.
Offering 360º shockproof protection (MIL-STD-810G) and scratch-resistant with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5, the S97 Pro is safe even when dropped onto concrete from up to 2 metres and remain intact, with increased resistance to scratches.
Built with soft TPU and aluminum alloy reinforced polycarbonate materials, the rugged smartphone is fully protected from drops and the four reinforced corners and heightened frames keep it safe, even in extreme outdoor environments such as construction sites. In addition, the extremely durable phone is able to withstand extreme temperatures due to the metal frame and components and can work normally between -55°C and -70°C. The proportion of the metal body on the back of the device is more than 50% meaning the position of the camera is also completely protected by metal materials.

The sharp and vivid 6.39″ HD+Dot display screen clearly contrasts light and shadow for a more true-to-life image, whilst the 6720*1560 resolution with 270 PPI Pixel density and 16.7 million colour· LCD screen delivers excellent clarity. Software
