UNBOXING: WHAT’S IN THE BOX
We have the WIKO 10 in Klein Blue color and it came in a unique-looking black box with a photo render of the phone on the lower corner and the WIKO logos embedded in glossier print. You’ll also notice the WIKO ribbon in black and white as an accent on the box. I do like the packaging, though I’m not sure the other color variants ship in the same box.
Inside you’ll find the WIKO 10 unit wrapped in plastic, a jelly case, a quick start guide, and other paper documents. There’s also a sim card ejector tool, a USB charging cable, and the 22w wall adapter with flat prongs. This is worth noting since you don’t have to buy an adaptor for your electrical outlet.
The only thing I didn’t like is the sticker on the screen because it cheapens the overall presentation of the phone.

BUILD AND DESIGN
WIKO 10 comes in three stunning finishes: Klein Blue, Silver, and Black.
The Klein Blue color variant has a matte finish and it’s probably bluer that any blue phone I’ve ever tested and I love it. I do like that WIKO kept it simple without any gradient/color-changing finish like every other 2022 phone out there.

WIKO says the iconic Klein Blue creates a stark visual contrast with the environment, showcasing its owner’s style and individuality. The alluring Silver on the other hand resembles the ashen hues of classic European architecture similar to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. While the black is a ray of bright light that disrupts the tranquil yet mystique pitch-black night, colliding decorative art with architectural structures.

This is one of the rare times that I can’t choose the best one, because all of them look great, though I’m happy with the Klein Blue.
Exploring the ports and button layout, the volume rocker and power button (where an ultra-thin and agile fingerprint sensor is incorporated) are on the right side. The SIM card tray is on the left; there’s a mic on top, while the loudspeaker, USB-C port, and headphone jack are at the bottom.
At the back, we have a rectangular camera module that houses the 50MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth cameras, and the LED flash.
The phone weighs about 199g (the battery included) and measures 168.3mm (H) x 77.6mm (W) x 8.98mm (D) so it still fits and feels comfortable to hold in the hand, though the big screen makes it a challenge for one-handed use or typing, especially for those with smaller hands.

WIKO says it innovates through the reconstruction of French art as its design concept. The intriguing and sleek aesthetic of the WIKO 10 is a collision between “classical art and modernity” that provokes individuality and personal expression.
All I can say is that while it looks like a lot of the 2021- 2022 phones, it still looks more premium for an entry-level phone. The only giveaway is the rather thick bezels around the display.
DISPLAY AND AUDIO
One of the top features of the WIKO 10 is its large 6.74-inch HD+ screen. This LCD display has a 1600 x 720-pixel resolution, pixel density is up to 260 PPI, and is capable of displaying 16.7 million colors. The 90.69% screen-to-body ratio is exceptionally competitive compared to other smartphones at the same price level giving you a more immersive viewing experience whether you are watching videos, playing games, or just browsing your social media feed.
Moreover, the Night Light Mode and the Dark theme of WIKO 10 protect vision health and create a more pleasing state for its prolonged use.
There is a cleavage notch that houses the earpiece and 8MP selfie camera. Overall, the display of the WIKO 10 delivers good brightness, decent color, and viewing angles, and the resolution is enough to please casual users.
For audio output, the WIKO 10 has a 3.5mm audio jack for your wired earphones and a single-firing loudspeaker at the bottom. The sound quality is okay and loud enough for a small quiet room, but I suggest you plug in your cans for a more enjoyable sound experience. The WIKO 10 is equipped with an FM stereo radio so you don’t need an internet connection to enjoy music.
CAMERAS
Photos have become a part of daily life for Gen Zs and millennials and the WIKO 10 has a special triple camera setup that will let them capture those special everyday moments.
The WIKO 10 has a main 50MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor with a unit pixel area of 0.64μm, and up to 6144*8160 pixels for shooting. The JN1 sensor’s pixel isolation technology allows more light for every pixel, ensuring high color fidelity for vibrant colors. This sensor is slowly becoming a popular choice among budget smartphones as it offers good overall performance in general shooting conditions.
Here are some of our camera samples:
The camera works best when outdoors or when there are great lighting conditions and as you’d probably expect it diminishes in quality in darker environs.
Night mode does help give it a boost making photos brighter with additional details though there are times that photos come out overexposed so you might want to experiment on the best angle and take lots of photos to be sure you get a good shot.
For portraits, WIKO has this Bionic Stereo Vision–a WIKO-exclusive technology that makes portraits more prominent with a more natural blurring effect. This is done with the collaboration of both the main camera and the depth-of-field camera, and the 5-layer imaging optimization algorithm.
There’s also a 2MP macro camera for those extreme closeup shots though the low MP count can only do so much.
While the 50MP main shooter works hard and can capture nice photos, the two other cameras are just there to fluff the specs. They should have just sacrificed the macro lens and replaced it with an ultra-wide-angle camera for added versatility.
PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY
The WIKO 10 is powered by a 12nm Octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor, comprising four Cortex-A53 CPUs 2.3GHz and four Cortex-A53 CPUs 1.8GHz for faster single and multi-threaded performance.
This Helio G37 is a workhorse and is enough for ordinary day-to-day use, especially for tasks such as social media browsing, internet surfing, and multimedia. This processor is designed for general use and casual gaming and though it could also run those resource-hungry games, expect the usual lags and slowdown beyond the default settings. But for casual gaming you wont have any problems.
The WIKO 10 runs on the latest Android 12 and provides a smooth user experience thanks to its near-stock and bloatware-free build. WIKO features an iconic, modern, and new UI Design.
I do like how the UI is almost stock android and there’s no pre-installed apps or even folders containing lots of “app suggestions.” so you don’t have to waste time removing or uninstalling those apps you’ll never use anyway.
Another impressive feature is the WIKO 10 128GB storage, allowing users to enjoy their video and movie collection on the go. This space is enough to store over 10,000+ HD music files, 900+ HD TV episodes, or 20,000 plus pictures on the phone that they can immediately access, even when not connected to the Internet. This is certainly enough storage to keep all those apps, games, photos, and videos until you get your next smartphone.

For the battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity with support for 22.5W fast charging. The battery of the WIKO 10 can last you a day of moderate to heavy use and is a good choice for those who enjoy using their smartphones for modern entertainment, from video watching, and game playing to photo-taking. The WIKO 10 22.5W WIKO SuperCharge allows it to be 70% charged in 60 minutes, while a quick 10 mins charge can refuel the phone to 15% battery for 2 more hours of video enjoyment. A complete charge takes about 96 minutes.

Besides its fast-charging ability and large battery capacity, WIKO 10 also supports wireless reverse-charging for other devices. A quick 10-min reverse-charging can cover 40% of a headset or 25% of a sports bracelet’s full power, which only takes up 1-2% power cost of WIKO 10. Now you do not have to worry about other devices as long as you have WIKO 10 with you.

FINAL WORD
The WIKO 10 is a strong debut for the brand’s new digital series and gives tech enthusiasts a good taste of what it can offer–both specs and in terms of pricing.
The WIKO 10 offers solid performance, a large screen for multimedia enjoyment, a reliable camera performance and a long-lasting battery with a very useful reverse charge feature.
It may not be a passionate French kiss—yet, but it is still a memorable smack on the cheek for those seeking their first smartphone and a good choice for bargain hunters who want to try out a different brand.

The WIKO 10 is now available for PHP 8,999 at Shopee, Lazada, and authorized WIKO stores and kiosks.
