Xiaomi has officially introduced its newest flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 15T Series, featuring the Xiaomi 15T and the Xiaomi 15T Pro. These two devices continue the brand’s tradition of pairing powerful hardware with elegant design, but this year’s models push forward in imaging, connectivity, and everyday performance.

Leica-Powered Cameras

At the heart of the 15T Series is a triple camera system co-engineered with Leica. The Xiaomi 15T features a main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens with focal lengths ranging from 15mm to 92mm. The Pro version goes even further, offering a Leica 5x Pro telephoto lens with focal lengths extending up to 230mm, making it possible to shoot sweeping landscapes or zoom in for detailed close-ups.

Both models use a 50MP Leica Summilux main lens for crisp detail and vibrant colors, with the Pro model getting a high-end Light Fusion 900 sensor for better clarity and low-light performance. On top of that, the Pro offers 5x optical zoom, 10x optical-level zoom, and up to 20x Ultra Zoom, making it a true photography tool.

For portraits, Xiaomi AISP 2.0 enhances colors, depth, and tones, while new bokeh effects and adjustable aperture controls make it easier to create cinematic shots. Videographers also get pro-level features: both phones support 4K HDR10+ recording, but the Pro steps it up with 4K at 120fps and advanced 10-bit Log recording for detailed editing.

Smarter Connectivity and HyperOS 3

The 15T Series isn’t just about cameras—it also debuts Xiaomi Astral Communication, a next-gen connectivity suite. Most notably, it introduces Offline Communication, which allows two Xiaomi 15T devices to make direct voice calls without Wi-Fi or cellular networks—up to 1.9km on the Pro and 1.3km on the base model. This makes the phones useful in remote environments like mountains, deserts, or hiking trails.

Signal strength is improved through the Surge T1S Tuner and Super Antenna Array, while AI-based antenna switching ensures stable performance whether you’re streaming, gaming, or navigating.

Running on the brand-new Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the phones deliver a smoother interface with redesigned lock screens, icons, and widgets. HyperAI brings smarter cross-device integration, letting users sync and share content more easily.

Bigger, Brighter Displays

Both models feature a massive 6.83-inch display, the largest yet on a Xiaomi flagship. With peak brightness of 3200 nits and 1.5K resolution, visuals stay sharp and vibrant even outdoors.

The 15T Pro pushes display tech further, thanks to ultra-slim bezels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and advanced eye-care features for long sessions. The standard 15T still impresses with a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce flicker in low light.

Performance and Battery Life

Powering the series are two MediaTek chips: the Dimensity 9400+ for the 15T Pro and the Dimensity 8400-Ultra for the 15T. Both promise faster CPU and GPU performance than last year’s models.

Battery life comes from a 5500mAh unit, capable of withstanding 1600 charge cycles while still holding 80% capacity. Charging is equally robust: the Pro supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the 15T features 67W wired charging. Both can power on in just a few seconds, even when completely drained.

To keep things cool, Xiaomi has built in the 3D IceLoop cooling system, which improves heat distribution and keeps performance steady during gaming or video recording.

Premium Design and Durability

The Xiaomi 15T Series pairs technology with style. Both models use Gorilla Glass 7i for scratch resistance, a unified glass fiber back, and IP68 water and dust resistance—with protection up to 3 meters underwater.

The Pro version gets a sturdier 6M13 aluminum alloy frame and comes in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold. The standard 15T is available in Black, Gray, and the stylish Rose Gold.

Pricing and Availability

  • Xiaomi 15T Pro starts at €799 and is available in three storage options.
  • Xiaomi 15T starts at €649 with two storage variants.

The Takeaway

With its Leica camera system, offline communication features, brighter display, and flagship-level performance, the Xiaomi 15T Series blends photography excellence with practical innovation. It’s designed for creators, adventurers, and anyone who wants a phone that balances cutting-edge technology with premium style.
