realme is pushing its budget lineup forward again, officially launching the realme C85 5G in the Philippines. It’s the boldest upgrade the C-Series has taken so far, pairing a massive 7000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, and a surprisingly durable build for a device priced as low as P10,989 during its introductory offer on the realme TikTok Shop. Its standard SRP is P14,999.
Built for Long Days and Hard Use
The headline feature is the 7000mAh battery—realme’s largest capacity yet for the C-Series. In real-world usage, the company says it can deliver up to 15 hours of gaming, 28 hours of video playback, and 9 hours of standby even at 1%.
Charging support is handled by 45W SUPERVOOC, bringing the phone to 50% in around 42 minutes. Battery health is engineered for the long term as well, designed to maintain 80% capacity after six years.
The C85 5G takes durability seriously. It carries Military-Grade Shock Resistance and a triple IP rating: IP66, IP68, and IP69K—rare at this price tier. This means protection from dust, drops, high-pressure water jets, and even full submersion. In internal tests, realme reports the device surviving a 20-foot dive, along with exposure to 36 types of liquids, including coffee, soda, and cleaning solutions.
5G Performance With Better Thermal Management
At the core is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, delivering 5G speeds for gaming, streaming, hotspot use, and heavy day-to-day tasks. A vapor chamber cooling system manages thermals during longer sessions, while support for up to 24GB Dynamic RAM improves multitasking and responsiveness.
Large, Bright, and Smooth Display
The C85 5G features a 6.8-inch display running at a high 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother animations and more responsive scrolling. Peak brightness reaches 1,200 nits, enabling better outdoor visibility.
The phone also includes an AI Outdoor Mode that boosts brightness and optimizes network performance when you’re out on the road or under the sun.
