Tonik Becomes First Digital Bank to Implement PhilSys ID Verification

Digital identity is shaping up to be the backbone of the Philippines’ financial future—and Tonik is wasting no time leading the charge. The country’s first digital-only bank has officially become the first financial institution to integrate PhilSys ID verification into its onboarding and account services, a move that strengthens security while lowering barriers for millions of Filipinos.

Seamless ID Verification Across Formats
